This one was actually an accident. I was getting ready to take a photo of something else and my flash was catching the dust in the air. It was so cool I decided to wait and shoot my subject another day and focus on this one… bokeh via dust.
This is the awesome mortar and pestle I got for Christmas. On a cold day like today I had to find something around the house in Des Moines to use as my first photo of this project and this caught my eye.
