Freelensing Macro Photography | Des Moines

I read about doing freelensing to turn a normal lens into a macro lens the other day by holding a lens in reverse in front of your camera. Since it’s a cold night here in Des Moines I thought why not give it a try. Turns out it’s hard to pull off but the results are different looking and fun. I had about a 4 inch gap between my camera the lens which was like trying to line up moving targets.
