This venue is full of charm that you’ll fall in love with. It’s a beautiful ceremony location with a quaint chapel. The main building offers elegant verandas and spacious rooms for your reception. As a bonus you get an amazing reflection pool that only adds to the character of this venue.

Science Center of Iowa

Location: Downtown Des Moines at 401 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway

This venue will bring out the inner scientist in anyone. The Science Center of Iowa has multiple areas that you can rent for your wedding and reception. Located in downtown Des Moines makes this an easy location for all your guest. Each of the rooms provide a unique and might I say awesome backdrop for your wedding. One of the things I really like is how easy they’ve made it for you to provide extra entertainment for your guest with their Live Science Demonstrations.

State Historical Building

Location: Downtown Des Moines at 700 E. Grand Ave

This is another unique location that brings a little history with it. There are a couple different areas you can use for your wedding and reception. My favorite feature is the rooftop, come on how awesome would it be to get married overlooking downtown!
